Privacy
The short version: this site doesn’t use cookies or track you, and anything you send me is used only to reply to you and do the job you ask for.
Who is responsible
I am: Nathan Brosnan, at the address above. For anything about your personal details, email hello@nathanbrosnan.com.
Visiting this site
The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so there’s no cookie banner. It’s hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles the technical details of each visit (your IP address, browser and the page asked for) to deliver the page and protect the site from attacks. Cloudflare does this for me as a processor, under its data processing terms, and keeps those records only briefly.
When you get in touch
If you email me, I get your name, how to reach you and whatever you write. I use it to reply, to give you a price, and, if we work together, to do the job and invoice you.
The legal basis is taking the steps you asked for before a possible contract and, if we work together, the contract itself (GDPR article 6(1)(b)); keeping business records is a legal obligation (article 6(1)(c)).
What I don’t do
I don’t sell or share your details, add you to a mailing list, or use them for anything you didn’t ask for. No decisions about you are made automatically.
How long I keep it
If an enquiry doesn’t turn into work, I delete it within 12 months. If it does, I keep the invoices and the records that go with them for six years, as Revenue requires.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it or delete it, object to how I use it, or ask for it in a form you can take elsewhere. Email me and I’ll reply within a month. If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission.
The demo sites
The demo sites under /demos are for made-up businesses. Their forms and booking calendars work only in your browser: nothing you type into them is sent anywhere.
