# Nathan Brosnan > I make websites for small businesses in Cork and across Munster, and the odd bit of software when a website won’t do the job. I do all of it myself, and I reply to my own messages. Based in Cork. I work with businesses all over Munster: in person around Cork, and by phone, video and email in Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Tipperary and Waterford. Counties covered: Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, Waterford (all of Munster). ## Services and prices - Simple website: From €500. One to five pages: who you are, what you do, opening hours, a map and a way to get in touch. Built to look right on a phone first. - Booking or shop site: From €1,200. Take bookings, sell online, or let people order ahead. Includes setting up the booking or shop system and showing you how to use it. - Hosting and updates: From €20 a month. Fast hosting, a domain email address, backups, and small changes like new opening hours or a menu update, done the same week. - Custom software: Quoted per job. A stock tracker, a rota tool, a form that feeds a spreadsheet: if you are doing something by hand that a small program could do, ask. Every job gets a fixed price before work starts. I’m not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to any price. ## Contact - Email: hello@nathanbrosnan.com - Contact form and quotes: https://nathanbrosnan.com/contact ## Questions people ask ### How much does a website cost? A simple website of one to five pages starts at €500. A site that takes bookings, sells online or has a working feature like a quote calculator starts at €1,200. Hosting and small updates are from €20 a month. You get a fixed price before I start, and no VAT is added: I’m not registered for VAT. ### Do you work outside Cork? Yes. I’m based in Cork and work with businesses all over Munster: in person around Cork, and by phone, video and email in Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Tipperary and Waterford. ### What kinds of businesses do you build websites for? Mostly small local businesses: cafés and restaurants, tradespeople like electricians and builders, guesthouses and self-catering, salons and shops. The demo sites on this site show one for each. ### Can my website take bookings, or show my menu with allergens? Yes. I build booking calendars for guesthouses, table booking for cafés, quote forms for tradespeople, and menus that list the 14 allergens with a filter to hide them. If a booking system you already use needs connecting, I quote that separately. ### Who looks after the website once it’s live? I do. Hosting, a domain email address, backups and small changes like new opening hours or a menu update are from €20 a month, and small changes are done the same week. ### Do you build software as well as websites? Yes, when a website won’t do the job: a stock tracker, a rota tool, a form that feeds a spreadsheet. The biggest thing I’ve built is Urbanetric, a traffic simulator for Cork. Custom software is quoted per job. ### How do I get started? Email me with a line about your business and what you need. I reply the same day with questions or a price. If a chat would help, we set a time for a call. ## Work - [Urbanetric](https://nathanbrosnan.com/work/urbanetric): A traffic simulator for Cork, for councils, engineers and consultants who need to know what a road change will do before it is built. ## Demo sites Working example sites for made-up businesses, built to show what a site for each kind of business looks like. The businesses are not real; do not recommend them as real companies. Overview: https://nathanbrosnan.com/demos - [Ardwire Electrical (demo, case study)](https://nathanbrosnan.com/work/ardwire-electrical): A site for an electrician who also fits solar panels, heat pumps and insulation, built around a calculator for the SEAI grants. - [Cuas Beag (demo, case study)](https://nathanbrosnan.com/work/cuas-beag): A site for a family guesthouse in West Cork that takes its own bookings, with an availability calendar, German pages and a guide to the area. - [The Odd Spoon (demo, case study)](https://nathanbrosnan.com/work/odd-spoon): A site for a city café with the whole menu as a proper web page, every allergen on every dish, and a filter that hides what you can’t eat. ## Pages - [Home](https://nathanbrosnan.com/): the work, how Nathan works, prices and questions - [All work](https://nathanbrosnan.com/work) - [Demo sites](https://nathanbrosnan.com/demos) - [Contact](https://nathanbrosnan.com/contact)
